The Vocare Steering Committee
The role of the Steering Committee is to provide leadership and continuity to the Vocare ministry. We meet quarterly and members are voted on by the Vocare Community at our annual meeting. Steering Committee members can opt to serve either a 1 year, 2 year or a maximum 3 year term. Anyone in the Vocare Community is welcome to serve on the Steering Committee and can be voted on board at the annual meeting. The Steering Committee makes decisions that affect the Vocare ministry. Part of this involves financial budget, rules, by-laws and deciding the future Rectors, but the other side involves providing support, stability and consistency for a ministry that serves a highly transitory group.
